WHAT KIND OF PHOTOGRAPHERS ARE YOU? 

 

We strive to create magic organic, natural, and sentimentally captured moments. We combine lifestyle and documentary photography along with magical edited touches to create unique curated images. As your photographer, we will provide a generous gallery of images that can be displayed in your home as pieces of art or archived in a custom album to be treasured for generations. Images from your session often tell a story, capturing a moment in time. We let kids be kids to capture images through the moment, your babies will only be this age once. We do not try to make you look perfect, stiff, or unnatural. We are not after that "one" shot with everyone looking at the camera and smiling. Sure, we may get some with everyone looking and smiling, but I promise if we do, it will be because it happened naturally, not because it was forced.

WHERE WILL MY SESSION BE HELD? 

 

We are primarily natural light, on location photographers.  Together we will choose the perfect location for your session. If we are planning a newborn session, these will generally be in your home where everyone can be most comfortable and safe.

WILL I RECEIVE MY DIGITAL IMAGES AFTER THE SHOOT? 

 

Photographs grow in value over time and become family treasures. We know the importance of archiving and saving digital images. This is provided to you A La Carte or in your 'Create a Collection' options. Set up a Free Consultation to see our full pricing guide.

WHEN, HOW AND WHERE CAN I ORDER MY DIGITAL IMAGES, PRINTS AND PRODUCTS? 

 

When your gallery is available we will schedule a Order & Design Appointment to discuss all your options.

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE WHICH IMAGES ARE IN MY GALLERY FROM OUR SHOOT? 

​

We look carefully at each and every image we capture at your session and hand select the best images. We are looking for images that represent us as artists and your family, as each is radically unique. Most regular session galleries have 25+ images. Weddings average 30-40 images per hour of coverage. There is always the possibility of more as inspiration strikes.

HOW FAR OUT ARE YOU BOOKED? 

 

We typically book 4 weeks in advance but you can booked up to 1 year in advance. If you are looking for something sooner just let us know and we will check our calendar. If you are looking for Wedding, Maternity, Newborn or Wizarding World see time recommendations below.

• Maternity portraits, these are best done around 32-34 weeks so booking between your 20-24 weeks is recommended. 

• Newborn portraits, please inquire while you are 30-36 weeks pregnant.

• Weddings, we take a select number of weddings per year so that we can uphold our customer commitment and recommend inquiring at least 6 months in advance. **Due to the COVID -19 outbreak, we do have select openings for smaller weddings on a smaller notice

• Wizarding World, we recommend these sessions in the slower months such as January, February, parts of March, parts of Arpil, October and November. Weekdays are best and booking 6-8 weeks in advance. 

 

DO YOU OFFER MINI-SESSIONS?

We offer select smaller sessions seasonally for Sunflowers, Fall, Christmas and other inspiration themes. Please follow us on Facebook/Instagram at or inquire about joining our VIP Family Group!

HOW MUCH IS THE INVESTMENT? 

 

Most clients invest between $800 - $1500. This will include a beautiful piece of art work to display and treasure in your home, along with digital files. Select sessions or locations have an additional session fee, see the investment guide for more details. 

 

WHAT SIZE CAN WE PRINT OUR IMAGES UP TO WITH OUR FULL RESOLUTION DOWNLOAD?

 

In most cases, you can print your photos up to 30x40 without any quality loss. This will vary between the quality of the print lab.  

 

WHAT PRINT SIZES DO YOU RECOMMEND? 

 

To print your full image without cropping you can print a 4x6, 6x9, 8x12, 11x16, 12x18,16x24, 20x30, 24x36, 30x45. Not every print lab will have all these sizes. Most common printing labs have 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, 8x12, 11x14,12x18, 16x20 and 20x30 but may require cropping.

WHAT IS CROPPING? 

 

Cropping is the change the composition of the image. It will remove a portion of the image to fit the desired image size. If you do not wish to crop an image for a frame it is recommended to print the closest size to desired size frame and apply the image to a mat for the frame. Please verify all images before printing to make sure your image is cropped correctly, especially on a canvas wrap as part of the image is wrapped around the frame board.

WHAT RIGHTS DO I HAVE TO THE DIGITAL IMAGES?

You have the right to reprint images whenever you want. However, you may not sell or publish your images without the written consent of Magical Moment Photography as we retail the original copyright.

WHAT PRINT OPTIONS DO YOU HAVE? 

​

We are a full service studio and have access to the best quality lab for your printing needs. We provide everything from prints to albums to décor items. If you need help with designing for your home we can assist with that, too!

DO YOU PROVIDE THE RAW FILES FROM MY SESSION AND/OR WEDDING? 

 

No, we do not provide RAW (unprocessed) files from our sessions because we believe in delivering a finished product. In fact, we’re often shooting with the end (post-produced) product in mind.

 

WHAT IF I LOSE MY IMAGES?

 

There is a $100 replacement charge for additional downloads 6 weeks when the gallery has been expired and archived, $500 after 1 year. We strongly suggest you make at least one copy of the download when you receive it from us.
